We will visit Echmiadzin (Hripsime, Gayane, Cathedral of Echmiaadzin, Museum “Treasures of Echmiadzin”) ․ Before entering the city of Echmiadzin stands the magnificent temple of Hripsime. Among the numerous monuments of Echmiadzin, the Gayane temple, located south of the Cathedral, is the most famous. The temple was founded in 630. Echmiadzin Cathedral is considered one of the most ancient monuments of Christianity. It is the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians ․ The museum “Treasures of Echmiadzin” is located in the southeastern part of the Cathedral. The museum presents unique holy relics.
Afterwards, we will visit Zvartnots. This marvelous temple is the result of the vast experience and creative potential of the 7th century Armenian architects.
Tour in Yerevan:
We will visit Erebuni Museum. The fortress of Erebuni is located on the Arin Berd hill.
Then, we will have a tour in the Megerian Carpet factory․ The museum “Megerian Karpet” surprises visitors with more than fifty old rare carpets.
Then we will go to ARARAT Cognac Factory (tour and tasting). ARARAT is the most famous and successful brand of Armenian brandy both in Armenia and all over the world.
We will have a tour to the old town of Dilijan. Dilijan attracts people with its unique nature and mild climate. The city is famous not only for its hospitals, but also for its architectural monuments: the Haghartsin monastery, Goshavank, etc.
Then there will be a Tolma workshop and an active holiday ** in the “El Extreme Park” village of Yenokavan (short horseback riding, archery competition) ․
We are going to visit Garni. It is a unique monument belonging to the Hellenistic era, which has been preserved in Armenia. It is located 28 kilometers from Yerevan, in the picturesque gorge of the Azat River.
After Garni we will go to Geghard. The famous Geghard monastery built in 12-13 centuries is located in Kotayk district, 9 kilometers from Garni.
We will go to Tsakhkadzor (Kecharis, Cableway – one station). Kecharis is a church complex built in 11-13 centuries located in the northwestern part of Tsakhkadzor. It consists of four churches and two courtyards.
After we will visit Lake Sevan (Sevanavank), participating in master class of kebab from Sevan trout. Lake Sevan – “Blue Pearl” of Armenia, is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest mountain freshwater lakes in the world. Beautiful nature and crystal clear water create wonderful conditions for your rest.
